The 43rd edition of the grand WorldSkills Competition 2015 has ended and the enthusiastic vibe from medalists, coaches and visitors will for a long time be lingering in the memories of all those who participated. The expectation from the organizers of the event was highly exceeded as it attracted the interest from more than 250,000 visitors spreading creativity and positive energy.
As the 43rd WorldSkills Competition quickly approaches, Sandvik Coromant is eager to welcome more than 1,200 students representing 73 countries and regions from around the world to the largest vocational skills education competition in the world.
“Manufacturing a 20-metre-long lathe and equipping it with the world’s longest reinforced anti-vibration boring bar, produced by Sandvik Coromant, has taken us into a whole new area of operation,” says Oscar Anitua, marketing manager at Gurutzpe.
From the 11th -16th of August, the 43rd edition of the global WorldSkills Competition will be held in São Paulo, Brazil. This event brings together 1,200 young contestants from over 60 countries that will have their technical skills challenged in 50 different technical professions.
