CoroDrill 860 High performance drills optimized for steel, stainless steel and aluminium

CoroDrill® 860 is a solid carbide drill designed for a fast and problem-free drilling. It maximizes productivity through high metal cutting efficiency and machine utilization. With excellent chip evacuation in long and short chipping materials, CoroDrill 860 provides green light machining at high penetration rates.

The CoroDrill 860 product offer consists of three drill geometries – optimized for steel, stainless steel and aluminium.  The drill comes in lengths 3 – 8×D as standard. Extended assortment is available as Tailor Made.

  • 860-PM: Long- and short-chipping steel materials, such as unalloyed steels, low carbon steels, low-alloy steels, high-alloy steels and steel castings
  • 860-NM: Non-ferrous materials, such as aluminium alloys, magnesium and copper based alloys including bronze
  • 860-MM: Long-chipping stainless steel materials such as austenitic, super austenitic, ferritic and duplex stainless steels
  • Standard diameter range :
    • -PM and -NM: 3–20 mm (0.118−0.787 inch)
    • -MM: 3–16 mm (0.118–0.629 inch)
      Drill lengths: 3–8 × drill diameter
  • Achievable hole tolerance: 
    • -PM and -NM: H8–H9
    • -MM: H6–H8
