The basic choice is the universal GC1220. Optimized grades are available for cast iron (GC1210) and aluminium (H10F). For further optimization, different PVD-coatings are available as Tailor Made.

GC1220

First choice grade for steel, stainless steels, HRSA and titanium, but can be used in all materials.
Fine-grained cemented carbide with an excellent combination of both hardness and toughness. The carbide is PVD-coated with 3-microns of nano-multilayers TiAlN coating, giving very good edge line security.

GC1210

First choice in cast iron and a wear resistant alternative for steel.
Hard and very wear resistant carbide substrate. The carbide is coated with AlCrN, providing excellent wear resistance and resistance against plastic deformation.

GC34

Fine-grained cemented carbide substrate combined with a PVD nano structured coating layer of TiAlN. Giving very good edge line security as high hardness and toughness behaviour of the grade. The coating provides a smooth surface for excellent chip evacuation. A good choice for mixed production in all type of materials.

H10F

First choice for Aluminiums with a silicone content of up to 12%. A fine-grained cemented carbide substrate. The fine grains maintain the sharp cutting edge throughout the entire tool life.

Coromant Delta® – brazed carbide drills

The basic choice is grade P20 for steel applications and grade K20 for other materials. Grade H10F and different PVD coatings are available as Tailor Made.

P20

First choice for steel alloys.

A wear resistant and tough substrate PVD-coated with a low-friction TiN-layer.

K20

First choice for stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and heat resistant materials.
PVD-coated with a low-friction TiN-layer on a tough WC-Co substrate.
