Inserts with Q-style holes
The combinaton of inserts with Q-style holes and the CoroTurn RC holders gives, overall, an improved tool performance compared to flat inserts in standard holders.
Q-style hole in the insert eliminates the risk of insert movement – particularly important in demanding roughing operations where high cutting forces are involved. Inserts with Q-style holes can be clamped, not only in the CoroTurn RC holders for ceramics, but also in standard RC holders and in most kinds of notch/dimple type of holders occurring on the market. | |
