Application area Material CoroTurn TR can be used in all material groups apart from cast iron. Operation Profiling with D or V style inserts. These inserts change tool path direction frequently during machining coping with varying depths of cut. CoroTurn TR ensures that no micro movement takes place and provides an unsurpassed stability to secure dimensional accuracy. - D style inserts (55º) are used both in medium and finishing applications. - V style inserts (35º) are used for finishing only (due to the inherent reduction in strength from the narrow angle).
