Positive insert - CoroTurn® 107

The system, with 7° clearance angle at the cutting edge, is the first choice for internal turning of small and medium sized holes. For external turning it is mainly used for light roughing to finishing of small, long and slender components. The screw clamping system offers great advantages such as secure insert clamping, excellent repeatability and unhampered chip flow.

CoroTurn 107 tools are ideal for copy machining due to the positive insert positioned neutrally in the holder. This provides sufficient clearance for all copy operations, ensuring a clean cut with good surface finish and long tool life.

Positive insert - CoroTurn® 111

The system, with 11° clearance angle at the cutting edge, is dedicated for optimization of internal turning with long overhangs and unstable conditions. It is intended for small to medium cutting depths and the inserts are therefore available in geometries for finishing and semi-finishing operations. The design of the tools with positive rake and inclination angles gives lower cutting forces, good accessability and minimizes the risk for vibrations, which is often a problem in internal machining.
