Wiper geometries for Parting and Grooving operations
 | The CoroCut tooling system offers Wiper geometries for the best possible surface quality when parting off and in grooving and face grooving operations.
The available geometries are:
-CF for parting off
-TF for grooving
-TF for face grooving
When using CoroCut in axial turning operations it generates a Wiper effect and it’s a real productivity booster.
-TM/-TF for turning
The -CF, -TF and -TM geometries in CoroCut are available in a top modern grade profile for optimal machining in a range of workpiece materials. |
CoroCut holders
All CoroCut holders take both 1- and 2- edge CoroCut inserts. For parting operations both double ended blades with spring clamp and screw clamp shank holders are available. For grooving and turning operations the screw clamp shank holders should be used.
Face grooving
For face grooving applications screw clamp holders with both 0° and 90° style are available. B-curved holders are stocked items and A-curved holders can be ordered via our Tailor Made system. The CoroCut face grooving assortment covers first cut diameters from 34 mm. For face grooving operations insert geometry –TF is recommended.
