We take one step at a time. Our experts work closely with your staff to identify bottle-necks to remove, tooling changes to make, logistics to improve and processes to optimize. Then we present our findings, help you implement them, document the results and follow them up.

Individual productivity improvement

Each Productivity Improvement Program is specifically focused on one individual manufacturer’s needs – yours. Once we agree upon objectives, our PIP team experts sit down with your specialists to identify the potential for improvements across your manufacturing. Increasing machining efficiency, reducing unit costs and eliminating waste (time or material) is high on their list.
Machining data is gathered, analysed and validated on the shop floor. Then we present the results – reducing this part’s total cycle time from 28 to 11 minutes, for example, or increasing output on a machine by 30 percent. Such improvements add up to substantial savings in overall productivity.
Next we help implement the agreed tooling and process changes. Finally we follow up to confirm that the predicted improvements and savings have been achieved in practice. Did we hit that productivity – or even exceed it? | |
