By including a Sandvik Coromant Tool Investment Certificate with your machine proposal/quotation, you are adding a strong incentive for its acceptance by your customer.
It’s important to add that along with the Certificate comes the full support of our team to guide your customer with the best choice of tooling for their application, plus the all-important know-how to get the installation productive from day #1.
The process

Machine tool supplier (MTS) agrees to uses Sandvik Coromant Tool Investment Certificates (TIC) as part of their offer process

A Sandvik Coromant TIC is listed as a line item on each machine tool proposal/quotation. The value of the TIC is decided by the MTS

Following receipt of the customer’s order, Sandvik Coromant sends the TIC (carrying a unique number) directly to your customer

Sandvik Coromant’s tooling specialists support the customer in deciding the best selection of tooling for their production needs

The customer orders their tooling directly from Sandvik Coromant. The order value (at gross prices) will equate to the TIC’s stated value. Sandvik Coromant’s invoice value to the customer is zero

Sandvik Coromant invoices the MTS. This is the face value of the TIC less the discount terms agreed when the MTS begins using TICs.

The MTS invoices the customer for the combined value of machine tool and TIC

Sandvik Coromant’s tooling specialists support the customer in all aspects of tooling set-up, application and know-how
