Spool body

A spool body is part of a subsea oil and gas production tree. The component is part of the tree assembly that helps monitor and control the production of a subsea well, it can also manage fluids or gas injected into the well.

Its main function is to control flow from the wellbore. It also provides outlets to attach several different configurations of valves.
