Choice of design

• For steel and hardened steel, use a cutter with neutral design for maximum tool life
• For stainless steel and heat resistant super alloys, use a positive-design cutter with light cutting action for best performance and tool life

Toroid cutters

The toroid end mills operate with two overlapping round inserts. This design prevents the cutting speed to drop to zero, as with a ball nose cutter.
