T-Max® P

CC6160 with chip breaker reduces machining interruptions

T-Max® P paired with CC6160 with chip breaker makes it possible to achieve optimal chip control and high metal removal rate while machining heat resistant super alloys (HRSA). The CC6160 extension with chip breaker bridges the gap between ceramic and cemented carbide grades and reduces machining interruptions due to chip jamming.

Chip control and process security

Pre-directed precision nozzles create parallel laminar jets of coolant with high velocity, directed at the right place of the insert edge. It is the precision and character of these jets that make the difference in terms of chip control and process security.

Excellent surface finish

Double-sided inserts have strong edges that offer reliable and secure machining for all applications. Use Wiper and Xcel technologies for machining at even high feed rates without affecting surface finish or chip breaking ability.
