At our Sandvik Coromant Centers around the world, participants get hands-on experience from skilled experts on state-of-the-art machines. Skilled personnel brings value beyond increased efficiency.
A small investment in improving your staff’s metal cutting skills can make a big difference in your company’s productivity. We have multiple Sandvik Coromant Centers worldwide, equipped with machines for milling, turning and hole making and up-to date software. Highly skilled experts with great machining skills and know-how are at hand.
From basic to special training
Many of our courses are three-day training programmes that combine theory with practical work and testing. Our programmes range from the basic (practical application of tools) to the advanced (special training). You can learn a lot about metal cutting in theory, but when it comes to raising productivity, nothing beats practical training on the machine.
To stay focused, the courses usually take fewer than 15 participants, often from different companies.
Training makes a difference
Measuring return on investment from education is not an exact science, but training clearly makes a difference. In manufacturing, even a slight increase in efficiency can produce huge gains.
