Why education must continue
Technical training

Technical training courses for production managers, engineers and machine operators can have a major economic impact on a manufacturing operation. But how should you manage continuing education to maximize the positive effects?

Education is an essential key to remaining competitive. By developing your staff’s technical competence you can optimize your work processes. We offer training programmes worldwide at our Productivity Centers. We can also send our trainers to your facilities to teach and demonstrate. Classes can be for groups or individuals. Sandvik Coromant’s training curriculum includes standard modules, but we can tailor our lectures or seminars to your requirements.

On Sandvik Coromant’s websites self study is also an option. E-learning is one portal and the Knowledge tab is another.

What we can do for you

Our programmes range from the basic (practical application of tools) to the advanced (special training). Our course material is always current, incorporating the latest technology in tooling, machining and material. In economy of manufacturing we offer best practice know-how.

This includes calculating processing times for different tools, techniques and geometries. We guide you extensively through real examples. Your personnel will understand how to evaluate alternative approaches in process and tooling. They will be able to save time, cut costs and increase productivity.

We adjust the balance of theory and practice to meet the needs of the participants. When you come to a Productivity Center, you aim to gain as much hands-on experience as possible.

Standard course offerings
