Do I need to buy both software and hardware?

No, you only need the software to manage stock and access all core features of CoroPlus® Tool Supply. However, if you want to use vending cabinets, the software is also required to operate them.

How is this different from a standard tool cabinet or vending machine?

Unlike standard cabinets, our solution allows controlled access to individual items, compartments, or full drawers – managed through the CoroPlus® Tool Supply software. Every withdrawal and return is automatically tracked, giving you full visibility.
The type of vending cabinet used depends on the items stored and the level of access security required.

Will it work with our existing hardware?

Yes, in most cases. Existing cabinets from Lista and Sielaff that were previously controlled by AutoTAS are compatible with CoroPlus® Tool Supply. You can switch from AutoTAS to CoroPlus Tool Supply without replacing your cabinets. Just ensure your computer hardware runs on Windows 10 or later.

What kind of tools can be stored in the system?

You can store, manage, purchase, and track all types of production-related equipment – such as cutting tools, measuring instruments, holders, clamping devices, and personal protective equipment. The system works independently of supplier, giving you full flexibility.

This is a cloud-based software. How safe is it?

CoroPlus® Tool Supply is hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud within the EU, ensuring high levels of data protection. Microsoft Azure datacenters are operated by trusted partners and comply with leading industry standards for security and reliability, including ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and NIST SP 800-53. Your data is in safe hands.

What kind of support do I get?

As part of the project quote, you’ll receive software and hardware training, along with support for creating the basic data if needed. The software includes a built-in support request function and a helpful chatbot that offers assistance in many languages. You’ll also have direct access to our Vending and Tool Logistics specialists, as well as local support from your Sandvik Coromant sales partner and application specialist. And to further strengthen our service, a global support hub is currently being developed.
