Insert recommendations

  • Choose TCEX L-F for best surface finish and highest productivity (double feed)
  • Choose -MF geometry for chip breaking in stainless steel
  • Choose -PF geometry for chip breaking in steel
  • Choose depth of cut equal or close to nose radius
  • If component is weak and unstable (risk for vibrations), choose an insert with a small nose radius such as knife-edge
