EasyFix sleeves are a solution for cylindrical boring bars reducing set-up time. A spring plunger mounted in the sleeve clicks into a groove in the bar to guarantee the correct center height.
The slot in the cylindrical sleeve is metallic sealed, which allows the existing coolant supply system to be used. The metallic sealing also offers good performance for high coolant pressure.

Features

Application
The EasyFix sleeves fit a wide range of products:
Do not use EasyFix sleeves for boring bars with flats, as the advantage of finding the correct center height of the bar without the groove will not be attained. A bar with flats normally clamps with screws from the top and locates on the flats of the bar.
When using a clamping setup, tighten the screw closest to the front of the tool first for best rigidity and clamping effect.
