Celebrated the second week of February each year, SkillsUSA Week gives state associations, advisors and student members the opportunity to promote SkillsUSA programs and activities at the local and state levels. This year's theme is Job-Ready, Day One.

As a sponsor of SkillsUSA, Sandvik Coromant is proud to be part of a program that introduces and encourages manufacturing careers, teaches machining skills and offers leadership training to students in middle school, high school and college.

We support CNC Milling and CNC Turning student competitors through knowledge-sharing as they prepare for their local, state and national competitions. This year's national competition takes place in Louisville, KY on June 4-5, 2018.

In support of Skills week we'll be promoting our different resources available to  students through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  Students can follow us on our journey leading up to the National competition to hear a "Skills Tip of the Week" from our expert trainers, Chuck Tate and John Pusatera.  Use the hashtags #SkillsUSAweek or #skillsgap to join the conversation!

Some helpful resources include our MCT eLearning Program, Youtube Channel,  our calculators and apps,  and the knowledge section of our website.
